What This Policy Covers
Cookies and similar technologies include browser cookies, local storage, pixels, and scripts that store or read information on a device. This policy covers the public website at www.escal8.tech. Authenticated products may use additional essential account and security storage described in the product or customer agreement.
Essential Consent Storage
The website stores the analytics choice in local storage under escal8-privacy-consent-v1 and in the first-party cookie escal8_privacy_consent. These matching records contain the choice, policy version, update time, and expiry time. They are used only to remember and apply the privacy selection across visits and Escal8 hostnames. They expire after six months.
Optional Analytics
Google Tag Manager and connected analytics tags remain blocked unless a visitor selects Allow analytics. When allowed, analytics may process the page URL, referrer, browser and device details, approximate location derived from IP address, visit timing, and interactions with the site. Depending on the analytics configuration, Google cookies may include names beginning with _ga, _gid, _gat, _gcl, or _gac.
Rejecting Analytics
Selecting Only necessary keeps optional analytics off and does not restrict access to public content. Continued browsing is not treated as consent. Browser Global Privacy Control signals also default optional analytics to denied.
Changing or Withdrawing a Choice
Use Privacy choices in the website footer to reopen the control at any time. The website asks again after six months or when the consent-policy version changes. Withdrawing a previous analytics choice removes accessible Google analytics cookies and reloads the page without Google Tag Manager. Provider-side records created before withdrawal may remain subject to applicable retention settings and law.
Browser Controls
Browsers allow users to inspect, block, or delete cookies and site storage. Blocking all storage may prevent Escal8 from remembering the choice, so the banner may appear again. Private browsing, privacy extensions, corporate policies, and manual site-data deletion can have the same effect.
Provider and Purpose
Optional website analytics is delivered through Google Tag Manager and the analytics tags configured within it. Escal8 uses analytics to understand site performance and improve navigation. Escal8 does not use the public website to sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Changes and Contact
We update this page when website storage, analytics providers, retention, or privacy controls materially change. Questions can be sent to privacy@escal8.tech.
